Today I took Megan on her first drive in my car after she passed her permit test. She did a really good job but I cannot believe she is old enough to drive.
Stress
Well today was not the best day of my life by a long shot. Today I was down in Chatfield moving my father into a nursing home (called a care center). It is one of the best in the state and I know it is the best thing for him. That really doesn’t make me any less stressed or upset.
It went as well as we could expect and he will settle in eventually. He does not like change and it is very confusing for him. Again I know he will be safer and happier in his new home.
Getting old really sucks sometimes.
Update on Stuff
First of all Linda is home sick with some dental issues. She is having a root canal on Monday so her weekend will not be good. Secondly I am still plugging away looking for a job and I hope I find one fairly soon.
I also managed to fix the pictures on the geekboyonline site so now you can actually see them.
The Car
So earlyier in the year my drivers side car door stopped being able to be opened from the outside. This was fine until today when it stopped being able to be opened from the inside as well. I now have to get in through the passenger door which involves me contorting myself in uncomfortable ways. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know as I cannot afford to take it into the shop right now.
Other than that life goes on.

Another Post
Well it is Sunday morning and I am sitting here messing around with my website blog. If you are reading this post on my wall in Facebook that means that something worked. If not then I guess it is back to the drawing board.
Other than that life is pretty boring. I am looking forward to Christmas which I get to spend with Megan this year.

OK, so I think I finally have my personal website www.geekboyonline.com working correctly. It is a WordPress blog and I am still messing with it so it may change a lot over the next week or so. I guess I accomplished something this evening after all.
